Restaurant Review: Lagniappe - Miami, FL

Lagniappe is just the perfect place for a Sunday night or a Friday night in Miami. Perhaps, it is the perfect place for any other night of the week. It is located in the up-and-coming Midtown neighborhood in Miami, FL which is very close to Wynwood Art District.

The Eatinerary score for Lagniappe is twenty-five points. Out of this score, two bonus points were given in the Wow! Factor. Read below to find out why!

1. Ambiance: 5

Great live music! This night the band was from the University of Miami. If you are a jazz fan, you definitely want to be here more than one night a week. Also, if you are a patio lover like I am, they have an amazing space outside which makes it very relax and cozy at the same time.

2. Service: 3

There is really no major service at the tables. Lagniappe has a "grab-and-go" concept which makes it quite easy to just get what you need when you need it. You can pick your beer, wine, and food all from their refrigerator, wine rack or food counter outside.

3. Food: 4

I shared a Cheese and Charcuterie board with three people, which we thought it was plenty! They added some olives and jam alongside with some french baguette which made the perfect combo. Definitely a nice pairing with some red wine, cheers!

5. Accessibility: 3.5

There is no parking lot available for Lagniappe at this moment. We had to find a parking spot anywhere alongside the streets, which is fairly normal in any big city. The good thing is, I found a spot fairly close to the restaurant so walking was not an issue nor was security.

6. Bar: 4

There are no cocktails or crafty drinks available. However, there is a good wine and beer selection which will cover all your thirsty needs!

7. [Bonus] Wow! Factor: 2

I had to give Lagniappe two well-deserved extra points for having such an amazing and relaxing ambiance. It is that kind of place where you enjoy a nice conversation with friends while sipping on great wine, savoring creamy cheese while listening to some of the best local bands. Definitely, not another grab-and-go kind of bar.
